About The Project
During the planning stages of this project, Fecon shared their goals for moving the company’s website from a proprietary platform to WordPress and also to enhance the effectiveness of the website as a marketing tool. Upright conducted a Usability Study to identify ways the site could be improved to make it more useful for visitors and to convert more visitors to customers.
Working together with Fecon, and using the information gleaned from the Usability Study, we developed a plan to make the site more informative with comprehensive information about the company’s products and markets. We also focused on developing a design that would allow customers to quickly find detailed information about new equipment, used equipment, and rentals, as well as support for purchased products.
The eye-catching new WordPress site design has been developed to be mobile-friendly and easily accessible on a desktop computer, tablet or mobile phone. It has also been designed for easy navigation, providing an informative overview of the company’s line of forestry and land clearing equipment including: mulching attachments; tractors and utility vehicles; forestry attachments; stump grinders forestry millers; drilling equipment; and hydroseeding applicators. Details include equipment features, specifications, literature, and photos presented in an easy-to-reference format.
In addition to new equipment, the Fecon website provides a searchable used equipment database and contact form for quick access to rental equipment information. Current Fecon equipment owners will also find easy access to Fecon product support and warranty registration information.
